”It’s been a successful couple of weeks for me in the last events of the fall, recording back to back best finishes of my college career. It has taken a lot of work over time, but I can see that my technique is improving and I am happy that my work is getting rewarded with some good results on the course. Driver has steadily improved over the course of the semester with my misses getting smaller and giving me more opportunities to score. Last week was a tough golf course with good driving and long irons needed in crosswinds and I am pleased that my game held up. Excited for the progress made so far and looking forward now to couple of months of work to get ready for the spring semester and further improvement.” says  Mattias.

AJ Lintunen tranfered over to the University of Nevada golf team.

The team have played two tournaments: The Gene Miranda Invitational where they placed 2nd with -9 and AJ scoring -4. After that the team won the Husky Invitational with -18, AJ scoring -3.

Antti Vahvaselka is playing for Averett Men’s golf this year and has been doing well. The team placed 6th on the Royal Lakes Invitational with Antti scoring the best score from the team with an even PAR. He was also nominated Golfer and Rookie of the week by his USA South Conference.

Wilma Merenmies has been doing well playing for the Oklahoma Christian University.  This week on the West TX A&M Fall Invitational she placed T12th individually, with the team placing 5th.
