A steady start for Sanna Nuutinen on LET

After a very successful previous season, Sanna Nuutinen will play a full schedule on the Ladies European Tour for the first time in her career in 2020.

She started the season by playing two tournaments in Australia: The Australian Ladies’ Classic Bonville on 20-23 Feb and Women’s New South Wales Open in Dubbo on 27 Feb -1 March. With 27th and 17th finishes she got a steady start to her season.

“I’m pretty happy with the top20 in Dubbo. It’s always hard to get back at competitive golf after a break from playing. It’s nice to see that the stuff I’ve been working hard on my swing and short game is slowly moving into the game, and I’m looking forward to keep improving further”, Sanna says.

Also coach David da Silva is pleased with the results. “It’s important to get off to a good start and get up the rankings early so that when the bigger tournaments, Majors and Olympic Games come around in the mid season, Sanna will be as well prepared as possible!”

Up next for Sanna are the South African Ladies Open and Saudi Ladies International. After those 2 events there will be a 5-week break during which Sanna will analyse her progress so far with her coaches and prep for the following events.
